OPS's methodology was forged across two decades of tier-one event delivery — beginning with the 2010 World Equestrian Games, continuing through project management at Nüssli across IndyCar, golf, beach volleyball, tennis, equestrian, and the NYC Marathon, and supporting roles on the 2015 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland and the 2016 Final Four in Houston as part of the Colonnade team.
That track record compounds into a repeatable system, not a single point of dependency. FEI trusted the OPS approach across three consecutive World Cup Finals in two different host cities. OPS's delivery systems — built over a decade of FEI, equestrian, and motorsport overlay work — gave founder Jake Cone the foundation FIFA sought when they brought him onto the delivery team overseeing planning across 5 of World Cup 26's 17 venues.
Founding OPS turned that track record into institutional capability. OPS built the full infrastructure program for the Pinnacle Bank Championship in Omaha (2017–2025) before handing it to the client's own staff to run, and redesigned the main competition areas for both of North America's 5-star three-day eventing events — the Kentucky Three-Day Event and the Maryland 5 Star. OPS also built a scaffolding rental and technical design company from the ground up, giving the firm direct control over core infrastructure that most competitors have to subcontract.
OPS is led by Jake Cone, whose track record shaped the systems and playbooks the firm runs on today — operationalized through a dedicated team and vetted partner network, so delivery holds steady regardless of which project is live at a given time. Jake is also a co-founder of Showfl.io, a SaaS platform bringing efficiency to event timeline and budgeting.
